Hello my friends!

My name is Michelle 明謙. I'm a Chinese native but I go to school in Boston, USA. I'm working on my PhD in History of Art and Architecture. I love world major cities and beautiful landmarks, especially those UNESCO World Heritage Sites. I'm also interested in stadium architecture, Olympic Parks, major cathedrals and airports - these are my targets to visit while traveling.

I grew up in a hutong neighborhood in Beijing and my family is of Manchu origin. My favorite sites in Beijing are the Forbidden City (Palace Museum 故宮/紫禁城) and the Old Summer Palace (Gardens of Perfect Brightness 圓明園). For those of you who have visited Beijing before or have something related to the city and local custom, please share with me your collection or experience. I'd be glad to see.

Cards of city scenery, historical sites, or anything regarding your cultural traditions would be greatly welcomed. Personally I'm not a fan of natural landscape...

To football/soccer fans:
Mia san mia & mia san Bayern! I'm a huge fan of FC Bayern München, and I watch European football a lot. (Favorite team in MLS is LA Galaxy, because of Landon Donovan :)
Please send me a postcard of any football stadium in your country! I really appreciate it.
