Hello,

I am Moniek Krouwel, 36 years old from The Netherlands. I am married and have 2 children, a boy Gabriël 9 years old and a girl Ysabelle 4 years old. I work at a lawyers office as an Office Manager.

I am a big fan of Michael Jackson, who passed away in 2009, on the birthday of my son. For the rest of my life that day will be one of mixed emotions, happiness for my son and grief for losing Michael. In memory of Michael I got myself a beautiful tattoo on my ankle.

In my freetime I read a lot and I like to surf on the internet. Having a good time with my children is one of my favorites! During summertime, we like to go on holiday to Italy. I love the country and the people over there, as well as their food! I just recently started to learn Italian, I hope next summer I will be able to speak a little bit when we are in Tuscany.

I want to learn more about other countries, so I would like you to tell me about your country, the people and so on. What do you do in daily life? I really don't like the cards with only "greetings" or "happy postcrossing" on it, tell me more!

Just recently I started to collect UNESCO WHS cards, so if you have one, please do not hesitate to send it to me, I would be absolutely thrilled!!

I have a large worldmap on the wall hanging, I mark all the cards I receive on it. It is really amazing to really realize where all the cards come from.

I am waiting for your card! I prefer English, but I can read German and French. As said, I just started learning Italiano, so you might want to write something in Italian to me.

Please only handwritten cards! I do like stamps on the cards.
