About Samz...

G'day from the Land Down Under!

I work for the Australian Government, am in my 40s and enjoy spending time with my family, exercising, geocaching, photographing flowers, watching sci fi TV and movies, and reading.

I share postcrossing with my boys Luke 7 and Cameron 9 who collect stamps. (If it doesn't cost you any more it would be awesome to receive our postcards in envelopes please.) If you enclose some used stamps pl add your typed or neatly written address so we can send you a return thank you card!

I am happy for any card you send - I particularly like:
* nature cards (trees, flowers, mountains, beaches, lakes waterfalls, landscapes, birds, wild animals)
* sunsets and sunrises
* beautiful coloured skies
* interesting architecture
* astronomy
* arty cards
* maxi cards (where the stamp is on the front of the card matching the card image)

Please date your card and write your postcrossing ID.

Australia is a long way from most places. I usually register cards within a few days of receiving them.

Happiness and thanks for your card :)

Samz (and Cam and Luke)

For Direct Swappers:

I currently have more than 80 postcrossers that I direct swap and correspond with so I am not going to accept any new requests at the moment. I leave the below information up only for my existing pen pals and direct swap friends.

I have put some of my cards available for trade at

and you're also welcome to ask about cards in my sent lists (on this and mdam22 account)

I am happy to do direct swaps with my existing pen pals and direct swap friends as follows:

a) I can send single or multiple cards stamped
b) I can swap multiple blank post cards in an envelope
c) I will send one maxi card at a time (but prefer not blank in an envelope as postage is Aussie maxicards already have the postage paid).

I prefer to receive cards blank in an envelope. Don't forget to put your ID and neat or typed address with the cards.

I also prefer people requesting swaps to send theirs first. I will send mine once yours arrive. Please don't be offended by this - it's because I've been disappointed when promised cards don't arrive and people don't respond to my email.

Do give me a few days to respond to your requests. If it's been a while and you think I've forgotten you, please don't hesitate to email me. Sometimes I do lose track. :)
Please let me know when you receive my cards.
