About Samz...

G'day!

I enjoy spending time with family, walking, photographing flowers, watching sci fi TV & movies, and making felt hearts as part of the www.1000hearts.com.au kindness project.

I shared postcrossing with my boys so they could learn about the world. They're now all grown up. I still love it!!

Only if you wish, send your card blank/unwritten in an envelope (if it doesn't cost more) with a letter or note about you inside, and your typed/neatly written address ... and look for your return thank you card from us! Only if you wish to please as I send these blank cards onto my Grandparents (in their mid 90s who live interstate)... I write them 3 times/week and they love to see the world via Postcrossing too.

Don't be stressed or concerned -- what you send and how you send it is entirely up to you! Every card is welcomed :)

We live in our young nation's (and ancient land's) capital city - Canberra - love wide open spaces, enjoy travel and look forward to your postcard very much. We are very proud of Australia's first peoples who are the longest continuous living culture on Earth.

I am happy for any card you send - only if you want to, I particularly like:
* nature cards (volcanoes, trees, flowers, mountains, beaches, lakes waterfalls, landscapes, birds, wild animals)
* sunsets and sunrises
* beautiful coloured skies
* astronomy
* modern art/design cards
* single image cards
* celebrations of diversity & inclusion (as I'm a D&I champion)

Australia is a long way from most places - please write AIRMAIL on the card otherwise your card will come by sea and take 90-150 days to arrive. I usually register cards within a few days of receipt.

Happiness, stay safe and thanks for your card :)

Samz

For Direct Swappers:

I currently swap/correspond with 120+ postcrossers so we only accept new requests from people who will send their cards and details first (we send our return cards after receiving yours). Please don't be offended - it's because we've been disappointed when promised cards don't arrive and people don't respond.

I have put previously some of my cards available for trade (but can't update the site now sorry):

www.flickr.com/photos/aronde/
you can choose Australian maxi cards (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maximaphily) from www.australiapost.com.au or search eBay.com.au
and you're welcome to ask about my sent cards on this and the CamJP account (taken over from my son).

I am happy to direct swap provided you have something I'd like:

a) I can send single or multiple cards stamped
b) I can swap multiple blank post cards in envelope
c) We will send one maxi card at a time (if you want blank we send in a clear packet as postage already paid).

We prefer to receive cards blank in an envelope with your letter/note. Don't forget your ID and neat or typed address with cards.

Do give us a few days to respond to your requests. If it's been a while, please email. We love to know when our cards arrive!!

:)
