About Marian...

I live 100 km west of Ottawa, I am a teacher, gardener, a knitter and a mixed media artist.

I have been living and working in the Commonwealth of Dominica, in the Caribbean, for the past several years. I am back in Canada at the moment and looking forward to sending and receiving postcards again.

I love a good cup of coffee. Sumatra is my favourite. With the coffee, I like a good book. I mostly read mystery stories that take place in medievil times. I also like sitting around cafes visiting and talking with people.

All postcards are welcome. Send me one that you like. The theme is up to you. I appreciate cards made by you, fanciful and antique or vintage cards, art cards - especially Kaj Stenval.

October 12, 2010 - I am going back to Dominica. I'll miss sending and receiving postcards. Can you imagine, Dominica's postal service is so unreliable that I don't dare initiate an exchange. Thanks for all the lovely cards I have received over the summer. See you all next trip back home. Marian
