I am a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 2 beutiful babies. This is actually a combined account for my 6 month old grand-daughter (that's a picture of her in the profile). Her name is Marilyn and I would like to start her a collection of postcards from around the world so that when she grows up it's with the knowledge of different cultures and sights from around the world. I plan on putting them in a scrapbook for her, so that she can look back later and be able to see all of the interesting cards people picked for her. I would be thankful for any cards for her, thank you in advance for your help.
What I would like:
1. Anything intersting from the native region
2. Landscapes
3. Native animals
4. Landmarks
5. Anything with a foriegn language
6. Homemade postcards are pretty awesome too
7. Funny sayings, animals, etc.
8. Postcards from zoos are welcome
9. Flags
10. Musuems
11. Schools, University's (mascots welcome)
12. Churchs, Crosses, Religious
13. Cartoons or comics
If you can't decide, just close your eyes and pick, ALL postcards are welcome! (you are not limited to the list above)
It would be interesting for you to write a greeting or more in your native language(not required, and translate in English if possible) . Please date it as well. (Just keep in mind it is for a young child, so no innappropriate pictures, sayings or words.) Thank you.
