Hello to you all!

To get in contact with people all over the world in this way is awesome.

My family: husband, a daughter and a son, A dog (Australian shepherd). I live in an old town in the middle of the Netherlands. It is not very big, but has many beautiul historical buildings. I like living here.
My hobbies: fotography, reading (alls kinds of books/authors, also not-western), music: from Purcell, Bach and Mozart to Rolling Stones, Phil Collins, Neil Diamond, Rammstein etc. Very wide taste.
Cooking also interests me, and eating with a good glas of wine.
And of course walking and working with my dog Caesar
My work: as a mental nurse I worked with people with all kinds of problems like psychiatry, drugaddiction. Now I am a secretary in a small institution for mentally retarded children.

What kind of cards do I like? Looking forward to ANY POSTCARD of course!!
But:
Portraits of people in traditional clothes and/or situations all over the world interest me very much. Postcards from musicians and bands, no matter what, would also be very welcome.

The most important thing for me is to know you chose a card because you read my profile, or because you were just in a mood that matched with the card. So a card is valuable to me for the effort you made to make your choise.

I would like to know what moves you, what makes you happy or sad, what makes you laugh, where do you go if you want to make fun, what do you do when you really need a break etc. etc.

Some of my favourite activities in my spare time:
Cooking
Fotography
Drawing / painting
Playing the piano
Good book
Long walk with my dog, preferably in stormy weather
Quiet evening with husband, fireplace and wine
Hanging out with silly friends (I have a lot of those)
Visit a museum with my children

I seem to have a lot af escapes, maybe I need a lot.....

In the mean time I am very satisfied with the life I live but always curious about whats up.
