About Edelweiss...

I collect cards for children suffering fatal illness. I am their teacher, and I would suggest that you would send cards that have a message, so that I can tell the children in the hospital something, and also that I would have something to teach about your country. If you have Royal families, maybe a card of them? The boys love sports and girls, they love everything that is beautiful and so on. After reading my profile to the end, you understand WHY...
Hi! Now that my children are adult I have time to travel and time for myself. I believe receiving postcards and new friends is FUN and PC an enjoyable hobby! I live in Helsinki, the capital of Finland.I have visited several countries and I am eager to visit as many more. My heart and door is open for new friends. You will make my day by sending me a postcard! I bring all my cards to the children hospital, so that the children, who have fatal illness, are able to enjoy the postcards as well.
"What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other".
I also collect T-shirts, from all around the world, as well as plastic bags or carrier bags. Of course, not for myself, for the children. Everything that I receive I give to the children. I also give them all the postcards and you should see their faces when I'm telling them where the cards are from and who is the sender. It does not matter if the T-shirt or the plastic bags are old, or the carrier bags...a bag brings also a message and pictures into the kids life. That is all they have in their life. Thank you, to you all, for your kindness...
