Hi there! My name is Marcia. I am a retired teacher of English. I have taught in New York, Maryland, Greece and Spain. My great pleasure was teaching students from all over the world. I love to travel and am very interested in other cultures.
I have a small family and 2 beautiful large poodles. They bring lots of joy and laughter to us. We have 2 homes, one in the state of Washington on the west coast of the U.S. and one in Arizona, which is in the desert. I spend winters in the warm desert and summers in cool Washington!
My hobbies are photography, gourd-crafting, traveling and reading. I belong to two reading groups.
I enjoy all cards, but I especially like original, handmade cards (photos or any type of art), black and white cards, all retro cards, especially from 40's, 50's and 60's, book-related cards, and antique card reproductions.
I am looking forward to making new friends all over the world, thanks to Postcrossing. Perhaps we can meet some day.
