About Indrė...

Hello world :)

How to introduce myself properly ... ? So hmm.. I graduated from school this year and I'll hopefully start the uni this fall (I'm planing to study Maths and Philosophy). My interests are reading, jogging, hiking, volunteering (in movie and drama theaters), history of middle - ages, etc. My personality type is INTP and/or INFP (neither F nor T is more expressed in my personality).

(THIS PARAGRAPH IS KIND OF A RANT, SO IF YOU WISH YOU CAN SKIP IT) I recently made quite a long brake (more than a year) from postcrossing. I feel like I have to explain why. It's not that I lost my love of sending/getting snail-mail/postcards. It was partially because of the financial reasons, but the main cause was that I felt that most cards were send without even trying to be nice and just wishing "happy postcrossing" without telling anything. It felt pointless even if the card usually were quite nice.

Still, I decided to give postcrossing a second try. So this time I want to tell anybody who is reading this that for me it is not really important how the card looks like, but what it tells. I just love when people tell sth about their day, about the book/movie/play that they like/ are reading/ saw recently, about the places, towns, sculptures, architectural monuments (or their history), etc. ALso, it's always very nice if there are some words ore sentences written/ translated in different languages. (If you are a native french speaker it would be great to receive card written in french without translation :) )

If anyone is still reading my gibberish text and still want some directions on what kind of postcard to send, here are some suggestions:
☆movies
☆series ( Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, True Blood, Hannibal, Penny Dreadful, Twin Peaks)
☆something related with history, famous historical figures
☆architectural monuments
☆dragons,witches and wizards
☆post office boxes
☆night sky, sth. related with astronomy and stars
☆coffee
☆famous people
☆rock bands
☆nature, forests
☆white-black postcards
☆drawings
☆....

Have a nice day :)
