My name is Brittney Young & I'm artist who loves cats, beads, sewing, photography (with old cameras and damaged film!) and making things...
& I love getting mail.
I am married with 3 cats, and a grandma (at 39!!) from my stepdaughter & son-in-law. I work in another city, so I often away from home & the postcards are a fun hobby I can do from the road. At work, I'm a graphic designer for a regional retail sports company. Most everything interests me. I studied art & anthropology in school, have been on an archaeology dig in Italy, studied forensic reconstruction of skulls/faces, and got my Master Gardener title in 2004. The world is so full of wonder!
Please send something about where you live or about yourself, or some art? I love weird stuff, cemeteries, CATS!!, architecture, jewelry, beads, sewing, etc. I also love Edward Gorey, Michael Sowa, Charles Addams, Klimt, Dickie Dik, Navitrolla & Moomins. Perhaps something that you feel represents your country, culture, life?
I make my own cards (professionally printed and other) and/or I try send out what you request. I don't usually carry envelopes so sorry if I don't honor that request...I'll try when I'm home! (I just made a bunch of envelopes, so perhaps I can send out these now!)
I try to check in cards as soon as I get them. Our mail has been SLOW since the holidays and I don't know why.
