Hello! My name is Karen and I love learning all I can about foreign contries and all their rich traditions. I enjoy learning about how other people live in far away lands, hence why I joined PostCrossing. What a facinating idea! I am a freelance journalist and love to put pen to actual paper - somewhat of a lost tradition. I have been an animal lover since birth; I have 2 very large dogs - a Labrador (Jack) and a Rottweiler (Gretel). I tremendously enjoy being in nature and relish in all her beauty. I am an avid walker; I am celebrating my 17th year of walking - almost everyday! I also love to meditate - anyone else out there meditating?? I beleive genuine friendships are one of the many true joys in life.
I live close to the famous Atlantic City casinos and I am about 2 1/2 hours away form New York City (also called the Big Apple)
I would love any postcard that shows part of your culture/tradition/history/famous landmarks of the country in which you live.
