Hi!

I'm a writer living in Dresden, Germany. Any type of postcard will be very much appreciated!

In case you have trouble deciding, I particularly enjoy the following:
- art/illustration (especially Art Nouveau/Art Deco, John Everett Millais, Edward Hopper, Carl Larsson, Ilon Wikland, Quint Buchholz, Russian fairy-tale illustrations, Edward Gorey)
- anything to do with writing/reading/languages (e.g. books, libraries, pens, paper, alphabets, local dialect)
- castles
- nature (landscapes, trees, wolves)
- vintage/historical/reproductions of historical postcards
- nice photography
- pictures of your town or region (especially street scenes, normal everyday life stuff)
- Harry Potter (also fan art)
- if you like to draw I'd be very happy if you drew something for me on the back of the postcard!
... But any card that you like yourself will make me just as happy!

Please note: if you look at my postcards wall, the ones in my favorites are cards I already have.

Please do write something on the postcard, even if it is just a greeting. I would love to hear something about you, your life, your thoughts, stuff you like or don't like, your favorite poem or quote, a random fact about your hometown, something in your language (with a translation to English or German), something about the postcard you picked... or anything else you come up with! Or draw me a picture!

If you happen to be a fellow Harry Potter fan, a Nerdfighter or have participated in NaNoWriMo let me know! :-)

I prefer my cards without envelopes, and I enjoy nice stamps. I would also appreciate it if you could put the date on the postcard. Thanks!
