About Kurt...

I am Kurt. My wife Heather and I both do Postcrossing for the fun of hearing a little bit about people around the world. She loves to receive Map cards, so if you have any, please send!

We also like to receive cards from our name sake cities, like Aurora (where she grew up), Fenton or Ringsted (towns nearby where I grew up), or Waterloo.

I enjoy reading science fiction, and traveling. We have a Shetland Sheep dog named Francis who loves to bark at strangers, horse drawn buggies, and large trucks, especially diesel trucks.

I enjoy receiving the postcards AND the stamps. I collect stamps, coins, postcards, and the books of a few authors, such as Robert Heinlein.

I work in information technology for a call center company.

I am happily married to Heather, my lovely and talented wife.

I have four children ranging from 14 to 21 years in age.

I enjoy all cards, but especially like cards of churches, unique local attractions, and outdoor scenes such as beaches, forests or mountains. I like cards with people or without. I have noticed that most postcards don't have people in them.
