I was cleaning out my bedroom earlier this year (2009) and found a few letters from pen-friends that I used to have when I was 13 years old from being a member of the International Pen Friends Club. Whilst we now have the Internet to communicate with people all over the world (and I do), it just isn't the same connection you get when you personally receive something such as a letter or postcard.
