About Lisa...

Please choose a card you like - I am sure it will be fine.
I prefer a postmark and a stamp on the postcard, so no need to put the postcard in an envelope.

Why do you participate in Postcrossing?
I love the surprise of receiving random interesting pieces of mail.
I like to see what stamp you chose, but I am not a stamp collector. (I always enjoy Lunar New year stamps.)
I like sending postcards while travelling.

I am interested in museums, art, gardens, local foods, handicrafts/ folkloric textiles (including hand knitting) and books.
Also folk/traditional music and art films (and film festivals).
I am also very fond of cycling, and prefer to commute to work by bike as long as there is no snow on the ground.

I would be very pleased to receive a postcard of your town/region's local food specialty or food festival, your favourite restaurant/cafe or market, or recipe cards.
Or cards with photos of cinemas, libraries, mailboxes, lighthouses, towers, obelisks, bridges, markets, windmills, other historic buildings or special parks/gardens.
Does your town/region have interesting public transit - trams, ferries, funiculars?
Or a special mountain or river/waterfall/harbour/lake?
However if you are on vacation or a trip somewhere else, you may be able to show me something about that place instead of your home.

I would love to receive cards of the Northern Lights.
Cards about coffee, tea or pancakes are also of interest.
I always learn a lot from a map, especially old maps.
Radios or phonographs are also favourites.
I enjoy classic children's books such as the Moomintrolls or Nils Holgersson - whether on the card or on the stamp.
I find modern art interesting, including sculpture.
I like the colours orange, turquoise and spring green (like new leaves).

Enjoy Postcrossing!
