About Lena...

Hi! My name is Lena, I live in Omsk and I'm a student of mathematical faculty in Omsk State University.
I hope, postcrossing makes you pleased, because this project delights me☺
I study, create different things by my hand and fantasy, draw and paint, crochet. I studied drawing and painting 10 years in different schools. I like listen to the music (e.g. classical music, Enigma, The Beatles, Janis Joplin, The Kinks, Pink Floyd, Love), watch movies and cartoons, reading. My favourite writer is Theodore Dreiser, and my favourite poet is Andrei Voznesensky. Sometimes I play the guitar. And I like to play Heroes of Might and Magic III, Poker, Pantomime and Hat.
I love to discover the world, I try to feel the life. That's why I decided to take up postcrossing.

Now you've got some idea about who I am and if you still don't know, what to send me, I'll give you some tips. I love postcards, which are connected with any of my interests:
- mathematics,
- horses (I love horses, and I have cat, whom I love too☺),
- rainbow, daybreaks and sunsets, rain, snow,
- nature, rivers, seas and lakes, mountains, forests, parks, seasons,
- night sky, moon, stars, constellations, galaxies, nebulas,
- dandelions,
- trains, tramways,
- bicycle, skating (half a year I go for a cycle ride, another half a year I go skating),
- children, people, grannies and grandpas expressing some positive emotion,
- native-aboriginal-indigenous cultures,
- cooking,
- butterbrot (open sandwich),
- fairy tales,
- Miyazaki's movies, The Lion King, The Simpsons, Charlie The Unicorn,
- Eddie Izzard,
- The Beatles,
- drawings, watercolor picturies, different paintings (most of all I like impressionism, works of Salvador Dali and M.C. Escher)
- crocheting.

Also if you can get for me any of these postcards:

In addition I'll be very glad, if postcard will be complied with any of these wishes:
- nice, colourful, funny, humorous or kind and cordial cards,
- black-and-white cards,
- retro, vintage images (e.g. like from Sir Edward George Warris Hulton's collection),
- cards with beautiful views which are associated with place (country) you live,
- cards with illustrations.

In spite of this I like surprises - we can't imagine beforehand all kinds of postcards we would like - and beautiful, interesting stamps☺

Oh! And if you'll write on postcard anything, I will appreciate it!☺ I want to know you better. I want you to discover for me some things of your big (or little?) world. E.g. you can write something about you, about picture on the card, about place you live. You can write some phrase on your native language with translation, some story, your current mood. You can tell me your favourite books, movies, music, your favourite dish recipe. Also you can share one's sandwich recipe with me;) May be you want to write your favourite poem or you can draw something for me☺
