Hello, I live in Christchruch, New Zealand.
I am very interested in European art history, architecture and medical history as well as New Zealand colonial and 19th century English social history. You could call me an art lover and amateur history buff!
My husband and I love campervanning around New Zealand. We enjoy meeting interesting people at good wineries and love finding hidden bush and beach walks when we go geocaching (check it out on google, its a global 'sport', for want of a better discription, and a wonderful way to get off the beaten track)
We have travelled widely around Europe which has allowed me to see wonderful art galleries, museums, libraries and architecture.
I read all sorts of books to do with history and medicine and also enjoy photography, gardening and classical music. I write in my spare time and work at a medical museum but my greatest joy is my little grandson, William - his funny antics make me laugh every day. He loves frogs, my fossil collection and playing amongst garden leaves.
I would love to recieve postcards that show your favorite works of art from your local art gallery, your favorite local building, your favorite place to read or walk (library, park or hiking track) or women reading. I would also love to recieve frog postcards or cards that relate to your favorite childrens story or Aesops fable so I can share them with William and tell him about the stories, books or countries they have come from.
I look forward to recieving all postcards as I know alot of thought has gone into selecting them.
