What about me? In my mind, I live among the butterflies and dragonflies, flitting about on a tropical breeze. In reality, I live in a quiet, mid-Atlantic region of the US with three ankle-biters and some guy whose ring I sometimes wear. Give me my music, my food, my word games, my poetry, my cloud talk, and my daydreams of faraway places. Can't dance a lick, can't sing a note, but I love it more than just about anything. Put me on the highest, fastest rollercoaster. I am like a little kid when it comes to amusement parks. And fireball candies. And skee ball! Cut up some fruit, burn some incense, dress me in purple, and sit me in a room made of fish tanks. Sing to me in a language I can't understand. If I ever decide to come out of that happy place, I will then be prepared to listen to raunchy comedy acts and drink away my yesterday, well into tomorrow.
My favorite postcards are any that you put in your precious time and energy to send me (and that includes ad cards and homemade cards). I love them all!
