Hello there,
My name is Katrin, I am 35 years old and live with my husband and my little daughter (1 year old) in a small town in the middle of Germany.
I am a teacher in an evening school for adult students. The subjects I try to teach them are mathematics and history. I really love my job - to help young people use their second chance for finishing school and having better jobs.

I love reading books!! Especially fantasy (e.g. Terry Pratchett) and historical books but also youth novels like Hunger Games or Maze Runner.

I am a bit afraid of flying but I always wanted to see the world - thats why Postcrossing is my solution to find a hobby that brings the world to me... ;-)

To receive postcards

with UNESCO world heritage sights,
funny cards,
cards with a discworld theme (are there any?),
black/white, old-fashioned/vintage cards,
great gardens,
some sheep or
simply the sights of your town
would make me very happy.

Season cards are very welcome!

(In my favourites you can find the cards I like additionally but also you can see there some of the cards I have received already.)

It would be great if you could write the date on your card.

You make me happy, if you write something personal on your card, not only happy postcrossing or the ID , because I always write some personal words - every card shows a little piece of my life.
