About Mari...
I was born in late 70's and I'm an engineer of land surveying. Now for a while I try both study part-time and work full-time. If I have some free time, I try to exercise, read books and comics, watch movies and spend time with my friends. I dream of traveling by trans-siperian railway and other special railways or Hurtigruten cruise. Also I'd like to go to InterRail and visit different cities in Europe.
Here's some themes for cards I like most:
-comics or children's book illustrations (especially "Jip en Janneke", "le Petit Nicholas", "Mutts" and "Mo and Mei")
-movies (e.g. David Lynch, Hayao Miyazaki, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Nick Park, Blake Edwards or old classics/retro)
-maps
-public transportation (especially trains and trams)
-bridges and extraordinary buildings
-old stuff (20's - 70's or very historical)
-animals (especially dogs and cats)
-culture (castles, clothes, dance/theater/opera, folklore, mythology, tea/coffee/chocolate)
-Jean-Baptiste Laissard
-black and white
-UNESCO World Heritage Sites
-Or just surprise me and send me a card which is very special to you (handmade, awesome ad-card, colorful or something strange)
I'll be happy of every kind of card I get. You can always send me what kind of card yourself like most, but please write there as much as possible. You can write e.g. your daily life, or what do you like to do at your spare time or you can send me a tip for a good book/comic/movie/special place to travel.
I understand also little bit Dutch and Russian, but very little nowadays.
It would be nice to get cards in envelopes, so I can take the stamp out of it without destroying the card :)
If you want a icebreaker or sea chart card as thank you -card, write your address to the official card you send me.
P.S. I'm also in CouchSurfing with the same username.
