About Maureen...

Hello! I'm a 26-year-old JET ALT who lives in a little house by the sea. I actually don't live in Hakodate, as the map shows, but my town is too tiny to be listed. :(

I like reading sci-fi/fantasy novels, knitting, and watching movies. I love cop and hospital dramas.

Good Postcard Choices:
US state map cards - I have Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Vermont, and Wisconsin.
Cats (especially Kotovasiya, Francien van Westering, tabby cats, art of cats, kittens)
Interesting, odd, or famous buildings
Studio Ghibli movies
Star Trek
Mothers with their children
Trains (I love train stamps too)
Views of snow
Shaun White
Castles
Anime or manga cards (esp. Gundam)

New Zealanders and Australians, I would especially love natural views from your countries, or views from up high of your cities.

Ad/free cards are fine, but please tell me what the card is for if it isn't in English.

Please don't send this card: http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/BY-671483 I have four copies already.

I don't mind what you write, you can put anything (er, within reason - I know 'anything' can be a bit of a dare!). Tell me why you picked the card you sent, if you like. Even "at random" is fine!

I register cards as I receive them. If a card is not registered, it is because I have not received it. I will not respond to messages inquiring about cards that have not arrived/expired.

Thank you!

If you speak Japanese, French, or Spanish, please feel free to write to me in your native language!
