My name is Christopher Shields and I live in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada.
Vancouver is called the Rain City because of our rainy and misty winters and because of the rain Vancouver is very green and mild all year long. My city is surrounded by mountains, the Pacific Ocean and temperate rain forests giving the city an amazing view. Vancouver is often declared the most livable city in the world and Vancouver is home to many different people that have blended together to make Vancouver a unique mix of Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Aboriginal and British cultures among many others.
I enjoy film photography and developing as well as painting, mail art, music, film, music festivals and cooking. I'm also interested in other cultures and I collect stamps so if you have any interesting stamps they would be great. I would also like to receive cards that show your home's art or culture, I'm particularly interested in folk and contemporary art and Americana for those south of the 49th. Anything is great though and it's exciting to see what comes in the mailbox!
