About Kirstin...

Hi! My name is Kirstin, I am 32 years old and I am a single mother of a cute boy (born in may 2007). I really love my life right now; playing with my son and meeting friends! But that and my job doesn't leave much time for other hobbies like reading books (I am a big Agatha Christie fan) or watching old movies.

Postcrossing is such a great hobby! I am always so excited when I come home and look through my mail. A nice card makes me smile and can make me forget a stressfull day! :-) Every card you send will make me so happy! I especially love map-cards and cards with the name of the city or country it's from on the picture site. But a card is not only about the picture! More important and what I love most is to read what's on your mind and the piece of information you'd like to share with me.
If you don't know what to write, here are some suggestions:
- What is your hometown, region or country famous for? Which places should I visit if I come there for a holiday? Some insider tips please! ;-)
- You can teach me some vocabulary of your native language.
- I'd love to hear some facts about yourself! What is your life like? What happend the last few days?
- As I love to read, maybe you can recommend me your favorite book or writer?
- Also I'd like to know what in your opinion is typical German.
- I love to travel (when time and money allows). After having seen some wonderful places in Asia this year (Qatar, Hong Kong and the Philippines) my next big destination for 2013 will be the United States. We also plan to go on a short family vacation this september or october. But we haven't decided where to go. Maybe you have some suggestions for us?
