I'm a 20 years old girl and live in Rio de Janeiro. One of my favorite things about Rio is that, though being known as a big city, the second biggest in Brazil, i often meet people i know on the street, anywhere i am. Even coming home from a concert, at 4am, inside a bus downtown!

I'm not really a fan of big citys (hence my favorite thing about Rio being not a typical "big city" characteristic) and i really hope someday i'll live in the countryside, growing sunflowers and taking care of lost animals...hehehe
Of course, with my friends all around me, 'cause plants and animals don't laugh and the sound of laughter is the best thing there is.

My hobbies include movies, travelling, hiking, reading, listening to music, hanging with friends...

I love literature, but this college life is not giving me any time for it. I'm a big fan of Jack Kerouac, Hermann Hesse, Jorge Amado, Fernando Sabino, José de Alencar, Charles Dickens...I wish to major in brazilian literature one day, just to able to say "hey, i'm reading 'O Guarani' for an essay"...
Perhaps you could give me some tips on good books to read ;-) (no self-help, though).

I study Geography at the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro and i'm interested in nature and also cultural aspects of different countries and people. I'm a vegeterian and i like animals very much.

I love all kinds of postcards (it includes ad cards, fantasy related, native/aborigenous ppl, animals, pinups, the twenties, viewcards, famous monuments, natural parks, anything about your place...), but my favorites are the movie ones... Yet, ANY card you send me will make my day. If you'd like, write something about yourself, where u got the card, why do u like it...anything. I love different handwriting...

PS: I prefer my cards written, but inside an envelope, cause my brother collects the stamps.
