Rainer Erich Franz Götsch, Rostock, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern,
born on 3rd August 1953 in Wolgast-Mahlzow on the railway-station Wolgaster-Fähre. My parents, grandfather, two uncles and one aunt were railway-men of Deutsche Reichsbahn and Deutsche Bundesbahn.
The house is on the left to the blue bridge when you cross the Peene River from Wolgast.
1972-74 military service, East German Airforce, Peenemünde, Usedom Island,
1974-78 Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-University Greifswald (Western Pomerania) and State University Rostov on Don (Russia).
Teacher of English and Russian, tour guide, travel agent,
since 1980 in Rostock, Mecklenburg.
Hobbies: history, museums, languages ,locomotives, railway lines, aircrafts, ships, military, uniforms, weapons, flags, water sports, music (country, folk songs, shanties), football teams and stadiums, cars and motorbikes, bicycles, trucks, busses, maps,
travelling, meeting friends, singing seamen's songs (shanties), dancing, playing the guitar,
sailing, camping, swimming, cycling, jogging.
