I have been married to my husband, Dwayne, for 23 years and have 3 boys, Nicholas 23, Anthony 21 and Christopher 20. My first grandchild was born July 17, 2009. A beautiful girl named Lilly Marie. I have two dogs, Butch and Annie and a painted turtle named Cecil. I saved Cecil from being road kill. We live in a small river town called New Athens. It sits on the Kaskaskia River in Illinois.
I am a rural mail carrier with the post office and I have been doing that for 8 years now. I love my job.
I enjoy taking pictures, working in the yard, planting flowers and trees. I deer hunt, well atleast I try, I really don't think I could actually kill a deer. So I mainly go for the fun of being with friends and family.
Dwayne, takes me to see the Bald Eagles every year on my birthday. They migrate here during the winter to the Illinois and Missouri River area. That is very exciting, especially when you have a good camera. I enjoy the outdoors and wildlife. I am not picky about postcards. I would love to receive any kind. Happy postcrossing.
