Hello!
My name's Kate, I'm an interpreter and a photographer. I like travelling, hiking and cycling, and I dance Argentine tango. I am Ukrainian, I was born and spent all my life in the capital of Ukraine Kyiv until in January 2011 I have moved to a small and calm English town together with my beloved husband. I have brought my vast collection of postcards from Ukraine that I'll be sending to you fellow postcrossers!

What I like in postcrossing is that it is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you gonna get. (c)

I'll be happy to receive just any postcard, but you'll make me super-mega-happy if you don't pick one with cityscapes or street views (NO multiviews please). Surprise me! A goose, a giraffe, a yellow submarine, a plate of cherries, a window, Alice in Wonderland, a dozen of spoons or anything else photographed or drawn, a postal or a fly card - that will be all wonderful!
I'll also appreciate greatly a handmade postcard or a photo - creativeness is the most wonderful feature in a person. If your child would like to draw me a postcard or create one in any other way, it will be fantastic!

Please write something about what makes you happy or what you,ve done interesting recently or why you picked this postcard and why you liked it. I like reading different stories of other people. I've just given birth to my first child, and when I was pregnant it amazed me how many funny superstitions there are out there about pregnancy. For example I had to promise my mum I will NEVER knit or crochet on Sundays because it makes the baby entangled in its cord. If you know one - please write me!
