About Anne...

I'm 35, mother of a 5-year-old girl and an English teacher for adults.
I'm interested in all kind of languages so you can write a few words in your language. If your native language is Russian, Finnish, German, French, Norwegian or Spanish (and of course English :) ) then you can use this to write to me. My hobbies are also genealogy, history, reading, mapping (I participate in www.openstreetmap.com ) etc.

Some things I like on postcards:
-maps!!! Any kind of map postcards, I have a little collection and hope to get some addition.
-national costumes
-funny stereotypes about your nation (or others, maybe your neighbours), you know - how to be British and that sort.
-I'm training to become an educational technologist, so everything about computers would be cool
-flags, coats of arms
-any kind of national symbols, traditions, customs, way of living
-postcards with text in front, like greetings or poems or quotes. You could add a translation.
- actually, postcards which could help me with the language teaching would be great :)
-churches, castles
-books
-Moomins (my daughter has been a great fan of them since she was just over 1 year old), she also likes Krtek
-bicycles (my husband is a cycling enthusiast and he became envious because our daughter has received so many beautiful Moomin postcards and he wants some too :) )
