About Kankalin...

Dear postcrossing friends,

I have a small family of 3: my son Zerind, who is 13, just starting high school, my sweetie for many years, and my slightly psychotic cat: Étoile. I work full time as a speech-language pathologist with children who have cognitive or social deficits (children with autism, mental delays).

In my spare time I visit museums, I enjoy experimenting with watercolors or mixed media, and I like making sculptures, taking funky photos and turning them into art cards.

I also bike, play tennis, bellydance, hike, and take walks in parks. My all time favorite read is Vonnegut and his sarcastic-funny vision of the world. I am constantly running out of time because there is so little time and so many things to do!!! I like traveling and each year I try to discover something completely different (2010-Switzerland-Zurich; 2011-Wyoming and Yellowstone Park; 2012- Paris and southern France).

I like watching fun TV shows such as Scrubs, Monk, Psych, Bones, and I am an ardent fan of all things British including Coupling, Black Books, and My family.

My favorite postcards are
--art, children's book illustrations, and B & W photo cards;
--illustrations/art about cats and pigs;
--vintage or vintage looking PCs;
--funny cards or cards with black humour hehehe;
--wild and weird cards (I am not easily offended!);
--people cards.

I don't mind ad/free cards as long as they are funky, funny, or have a great design and I truly appreciate beautiful stamps on my cards.
I will be happy to read something about you, your life, favorite pastime, vacation, quote, or joke.
Cheers, Tünde
