I am a university student studying in Vancouver, BC and working in a traditional Japanese garden on the UBC campus (we are considered one of the top 5 outside of Japan!). I have spent some time traveling around Western Europe and Central America, but I have no chance to go this year so I'm hoping dissuade my wanderlust by at least seeing/and hearing about bits of the world through the post. I definitely prefer landscape/landmark cards.
**I love interesting stamps! I collected stamps when I was a little girl, and I've recently thought about getting back into it, so I'd love to have postcards with interesting stamps.
If you want a suggestion of what to write, how about:
a description of something your town/city is well known for.
what you can see out your window today.
a poem (or part of one) by your favourite poet.
a favourite saying.
