I teach American and European history, so anything about history is wonderful. I love to read and write penpal letters.
I would love to receive any postcards, but if you'd like an idea, I would love cards that show historical sites, museums, castles, historic towns, farms, nature scenes, food or recipe postcards, pictures of your state/region/province, downtown city scenes, black and white photos, gardens, transportation, people on the street, markets, animals (koalas are my favorite), anything about reading/books/writing letters, anything military as well.
I'd love anything really!!
