Hi. Just registered because I love postcards, and like getting in touch with other people around the globe. I'm 41, married, mother of two and a teacher. I'm also a true Madeiran, which means I'm amazingly proud of my homeland's beauty and want to share it with everyone. I would like to travel very much, but as money is something I don't have, I'll rely on postcards to learn of the unbelievable beauties of the world.
As for the type of cards I enjoy, well, mostly sights, or maps, or anything that shows a bit of your town's/country's culture. I also enjoy animals and plants/fruits. I'm also ok with ad-cards, special occasion ( Christmas, easter, etc)too, so long they are POSTcards, not regular cards. Don't really care for those like "by night" which are all black.
Also, I'd like you to stamp your card instead of sending it in an envelope, as stamps are part of a place's culture and some are so beautiful....
I also direct swap, and as we cannot show the cards we get that way here, I upload them in my facebook account .
