I am a magazine journalist and a college professor, and I love nature, animals (I have 2 cats and 2 dogs), reading and outdoor photography. I love writing and receiving letters, especially postcards, which are so nostalgic and beautiful. I'm not picky about what kind of postcard you send, although my favorites are the ones that show scenes of your city/country/region or interesting attractions that are famous in your part of the world (like national parks, preserved natural areas or the city/town/village where you live). I hope you don't mind writing a note, too, as part of the fun of postcrossing is learning about people in different cultures (even if it's just different regions of my own country).
