About Joanna...

I'm Joanna and I'm a Polish girl studying Medicine at the University of Bristol in the UK.

I can describe myself as an adventurer who always accepts challenge and never gives up. I love travelling, meeting people and discovering new cultures, which is what I believe to be the best way to learn and accept the differences between individuals around the world. I play the guitar and enjoy practising the 'S' sports - sailing, skiing, squash and swimming. I have a passion for foreign languages and wherever I go I try to learn at least a couple of phrases. Finally, I'm very interested in health&science issues and I'm constantly being impressed by the works of the human body, as well as it's imperfections.

As far as travelling goes, I'm most fond of hiking amongst the beauty of the nature just with a backpack and a tent, so I would love to receive a postcard that shows astonishing landscapes, mountains, nature, wildlife, sunset/sunrise, ocean, beaches or any other landmark that makes you happy that you live on this planet. I'm not a big fan of city views, but if you have no other choice please send a singleview. I hope you get the idea, but if not just look at my favourites list :)

I recently moved in with my boyfriend and that means that I need to cook a lot, so if you have a great recipe that you would like to share it would be very much appreciated! Also, it would be great if you wrote 'Hello' in your language for me :)And if you speak French, even basic, please write in French because I need to keep using it or I'll forget it!
