Hi there in the world! :)

This is Janina from Hamburg in Germany. Although already 29 years of age, I'm still not a very grounded person. There's so much in life that I want to learn, to see, to travel to and so many people I want to get to know that it's quite hard fitting in daily routine and building up something like a 5-year-plan.

My heart cries out for Indie and Alternative Rock music, although I find beautiful pieces in almost every genre! I try to see live shows as often I can and I play the guitar (well, I actually totally suck at it).
I love to travel by train, gazing out of the window and letting my mind wander while listening to my favorite tunes on my mp3 (as you can see in my picture). It always gives me the feeling that the world is much bigger than the road to work or the few houses built around the one I live in. What would happen if I stepped off the train and just started walking a road I've never walked before? If I just got out and circled the world by foot? ...Well, and the music on my mp3 has the whole soundtrack of the journey on it! :)

Every summer I work as a volunteer for a few different music festivals here in Germany - that's sometimes quite tough (especially when the weather plays around), but these few weeks are my personal highlights of the year! :)

Also, I love watching movies - not so much the blockbusters, independent movies are the more beautiful ones! I go for horror and apocalytic sceneries, mostly because they make me have one or another good laugh! :D
I used to work at a movie theater for about 6 six years, and my brother and my boyfriend still do, so I spend a lot of time watching heaps of crap. Before you ask: I don't have a favorite movie anymore, the plots of thousands of films mash up in my head! ;)

I also love spending time with my friends, having coffee or a few beers, philosophizing on important and useless things, but I'm not out partying every night as I did in my early 20s.

If you are the chosen one to send me a postcard, I would be happy to get to know something about you, your inspiration and your life abroad. Send me a postcard of the town you live in, something that inspires you or a picture you've drawn yourself, something you're keen of or a just an odd fun postcard you found in some corner shop. I like real postcards (please no ad/free), hand written and stamped. but if you want to send me a letter or a postcard in an envelope - feel free to do so.
I want to build up a collage on my room wall and promise I'll get back to you if you put any contact information on it (facebook or address). Maybe we could even start writing to each other back and forth.
If I can't travel the whole world, the world becomes part of my wall.
And if you still don't know what to write, teach me one or two useful phrases I should know in your language! :D
