About Jill...

Hey! I'm Jill, and I live in Maryland (near Washington, DC). I grew up in this area of Maryland, and I love traveling. I also enjoy Baltimore Orioles baseball and Washington Redskins football.

I finished undergraduate college in 2009, and I work at a church as the Spiritual Formation Coordinator. I'm engaged and getting married in July 2010! I am very excited. My fiance's name is Esrael, and he grew up in Eritrea. We met in college.

Also, my brother Daniel is in his third year of college in the US. For the spring 2010 semester, he is studying at Schiller International University in Heidelberg, Germany. I love hearing about his travels all over Europe!

I'd love any postcard that you find interesting, or one that represents something about your hometown, country, etc. Surprise me! If you write in English, please write something about the postcard. Otherwise, please at least sign your name and write something in a language you know -- or draw something! :) I appreciate creativity.

Ideas of postcards I find interesting (or don't have yet):
--anything Olympics
--unusual pictures
--funny pictures
--churches or cathedrals
--nature (forests, trees, lakes, national parks, mountains, volcanoes, landscapes, sunrises, sunsets, etc.)
--aerial views (pictures taken from the sky or above something)

Let me know if you would like to do a direct swap. I'm happy to look for a postcard in the Washington, DC area of something of your interest (but give me some time). DC has a lot of U.S. history, including the White House (where U.S. President lives), other political buildings, Smithsonian museums, and cherry blossoms in the spring. Maryland is known for its blue crabs and black eyed Susans!
