Hello, my name is Jacqui and I am a 50 year old mother of 2 grown-up children and provider of bed, board and love for 2 middle aged lady cats (Xena and Lily). I live in a village near Swadlincote, South Derbyshire, which is pretty much in the middle of England. I work part-time as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school (children aged 7 - 11), which I really enjoy most of the time!

My son, who is currently living in Finland, told me about this site and I think the whole idea is amazing! I have many interests - card making and scrapbooking, penpalling, reading all sorts of books, gardening - I have just moved house and am enjoying getting to know my beautiful new garden. It's also great, getting to know a new area of Derbyshire for walking and exploring.

I would love cards about where you live, gardening, flowers, cats or something that really interests you or makes you laugh. The important thing to me is the fact that someone has taken the time and trouble to sit down and write me a personal message. Thanks!
