I end up re-writing this section at least once every five days. Let's try to be sociable this time...
On average I have lived about 18 months in one place, so I guess I like moving around. So far I've travelled much of Europe and lived in three different countries. Does that qualify me as an itinerant? I prefer travelling by car or train both because I like to see what I have to go through to get where I'm going (and I hate planes). Consequently, I only really feel at home when I'm on the road.

As far as postcards go; I'd like something quite specific to where you live (cultural or geographic) but I like being surprised so anything goes. I'm very fond of nature, Northern forests and mountains in particular, so such cards are always more than welcome. Owls are another obsession of mine. I prefer landscape cards but I have no problem with multi-views.
As for the text; I'd like something original/poetic or even a letter with a story. You're also more than welcome to send me a drawing if you can't think of anything to say. Alternatively, you can write in your own language, or dialect, with a translation as I'm quite fascinated by languages. I'm a real sucker for word plays and multiple textual interpretations.
In every card I write I will include a quote from a particular literary period. This is mostly because I lack the creativity of the books I read.

- "Happy postcrossing" statements on their own
- Royal families from any country.
I tend to switch the private swap on and off depending on a number of factors. If you want to swap with me, please offer something of interest in return. Also, if I will trade with you I may want to trade more than once over an extended period of time.
