Hello from Finland!

I'm a mom of a little boy and a cat owner. I work in the field of culture and art, I love music, cinema d'auteur, travelling, writing and collecting different things. I like to go to museums, concerts, foreign post offices' philately departments, botanic gardens, second hand shops and markets.

I collect cards and stamps since a long time. I try to send my own mail always hand cancelled or with special pictorial cancellation and like to receive such mail also. I always send myself and my friends mail (self made maximum cards, official FDC) with First Day Stamp issues and related special cancellation, and if I take out addresses for Postcrossing at the time of the release of new stamps, I send them also to other people.

I am not very fond of traditional touristic viewcards of towns/countries, but I send them often because many people prefer them and I always try to find suitable cards for everyone.

However if you don't have other cards than viewcards of places, that's ok, but please could you use real stamps on the cards? Often I receive cards with white postal label (sticker), which can also cover part of the text of the card :(

Ideas about cards I would like to receive (I don't mind if the cards are older/worn!) :)

- art cards from museums
- reprints of vintage posters/advertising, DDR, USSR/CCCP
- matryoshka cards (like my picture/avatar)
- cards with matching stamp
- cards with many many stamps!
- maximum cards
- mail related cards (postbox, mailman, stamp...)
- writing/reading related (typography, calligraphy, books, libraries)
- adult cats (my own is nearly 15 years old tabby), paintings of cats
- cactus, Gladiolus, Hydrangea, botanic gardens
- flower markets, fish markets, vegetable markets
- puffins
- mushrooms esp. Amanita muscaria (the red fly agaric mushroom)
- everything related to Japan (gardens, fruit tree blossom, Ukiyoe, Maneki Neko, geisha, maiko, Japanese food...) and China (especially Chinese paper-cuts and ink drawings/paintings). I have been to China but hope to visit Japan soon too!
- childrens' stories: Barbapapa, Sandmännchen, Rumcajs, Pippi Longstocking, Pinocchio, Moomins, Rudolf Koivu, Martta Wendelin, Wizard of Oz, Little Red Riding Hood
- Fiat 500, Fiat 600 and Vespa (also vintage viewcards with these visible!)
- vintage cards (older than 1970's)
- there are also plenty of other kinds of cards in my "Favourites" wall
