I\'m very attracted to many aspects of the Japanese culture. I\'m also a hopeless anime fan, and I\'m interested in unusual anime as well as their creators (particularly the hard-working animators behind them).
At the same time I also am very fascinated by other parts of Japan such as their unique national psyche, the issue of nationalism, the Bakumatsu period of their history, and their awesome graphic art. Something about Japan has been drawing me to it time and again since I was young - but I have never been there myself! :(
Finally, I really love nature and abandoned or uninhabited places. Nothing beats sitting alone in an abandoned carpark looking at the sky, walking through a soothing jungle or just standing in the sea with the waves lapping up your shins.
P.S. My username refers to a beautiful and wonderful poem called the "Iroha uta" - go look it up on wikipedia! It's an alphabet ordering and a profound poem at the same time. And it also refers to an anime I am very fond of currently (if you're interested, take a guess!)
