About Inga...

Labas!

Thank you for popping into my profile! If you are in a hurry and have no time for this long monologue, just send me A CARD!!!

****

If you have decided to continue, then:

Easter, and Christmas, and any occasion cards when those occasions are due, are great!

I love cards featuring the interior of a building (like cafe, restaurant, bank, hotel, a store, any living or public space).

I like the cards to reflect some historical event in your country. Especially I like PEOPLE on the cards, famous and not that much. I also like if a card with monuments or streets has some people on it, so as to see what they did, how they were dressed up, what sort of cars were on the streets, and the like. Those small bits and pieces makes the view gain some historical and time-related context.

I've just discovered maxicards (maximum cards), and I like them a lot! If you have any, save them for me, please. It would be great to receive it in an envelope and unwritten, and as this IS expensive, I am very ready to send some cards instead.

I am a fan of Japanese and Scandinavian graphic design, food packaging. So any card with prints, caligraphy, branding and logo signs, even wall paper patterns would be appreciated.

National/ folk art is what gives me inspiration for my hadicrafts (I like recycling things), thus cards with costumes, ornaments, etc. would be great. Especially the ornaments!

Old cards are GREAT. Can even be written for someone else.

Non-touristic picks of landscapes and places, monuments to people and historic events. I'd love to see places and picks that most tourist do not go to. I love sights WITH people on them, so that some sort of human activity is reflected as well. Cards featuring events (like the Olympic games, official mascots/ symbols of the games, Culture Capital of Europe, National Festivals etc.).

Cartoon characters are welcome. Especially old ones. They would make my 2 kids very happy, and me as well...:)

Technical stuff like cars, aeroplanes, trains, busses, bridges, light houses and any other wonders that people make or construct would make me happy.

Crazy cards are welcome. B-and-W. HANDMADE, please!

I am a university teacher (30+) of strategic marketing management and advertising in Lithuania, Kaunas, thus I am very interested in the ads' postcards or posters. Free/ads' postcards are welcome. Any kind of promotional material, as well. Emphasis on graphic design, calligraphy, signs, etc. would make me very happy! Strange and humorous would be an extra bonus! But, please, make a carefull selection... it is always nicer to receive a carefully selected card than any card at hand...

And I collect stamps, so used and unused stamps are a very big bonus!... :)

Looking forward!

P.S. my FAVOURITES album shows the cards that I have NOT received
