She has been a member for 11 months (326 days).Hello there! I am a student from Åbo Akademi University in Turku where I study the finnish and swedish languages. I'm bilingual and my mother tongue is swedish. (That's why my surname is a bit weird). Did you know that 5% of Finns are Finnish Swedes? I'm going to work as a translator or a researcher when I graduate in a few years. I'm born 1984. We have two dogs and a cat.
I live together with my boyfriend at the Student Village. The area was originally constructed between 1969 and 1979. There are about 3500 residents living in the student village. It's aimed mainly for students of the University of Turku, Åbo Akademi University, Turku School of Economics and Turku University of Applied Sciences.
I haven't really got any hobbies but right now I'm studying spanish really hard. I love taking long walks in the nature with the dogs and I enjoy going to the movies. I write a lot, it's my true talent. I'm also interested in photography.
I'm glad for all kinds of cards. Pick one you like :) Pictures over your home country or city as well as cards with animals or nature. I have totally fallen in love with giraffes and polar bears so I'm hoping to get a card with either one on it some day. Of course I save every card I get and within time I'll put them all in a frame on the wall.
Would be interesting to know that YOU know about Finland.
