Hi! I am a 24 year old Male from the United Kingdom. I was born in the City of Wolverhampton in England but moved to Wales when I went to Aberystwyth to study History at Wales' oldest University. My main Historical interests are British, Irish, European, Russian and Imperial history from 1603AD to the present day. Although I have finished my studies now I still live in the beautiful seaside town where I met my girlfriend- a fellow post crosser - and now work as a Fishmonger.
Other interests include keeping up with world affairs and politics, learning about other cultures and countries, Calligraphy and alphabets, railways and steam locomotives (particularly old ones)historic buildings, particularly castles, manor houses/Chateaux, churches and cathedrals and looking at beautiful scenery. I will be happy to receive any postcard that means something to you and represents where you are from, but if you can send ones with railways, scenery, calligraphy (different writing styles/fonts) that would be great. I love bridges and architecture as well so I’m easily pleased with a well chosen card.
I have spent a over a year away from Post crossing but I did enjoy it enough to return, I love hearing from people across the world about their cultures, traditions and daily lives. It is good to see how different and how similar we all are in this globalised world.
