I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I love being with my family and my dog Maggie (thats her in the picture looking totally bored and waiting to go for a walk). I am an avid gardener and my dream is to make a really good living selling off my garden, perhaps in a past life I was a Medicine Woman or a healer. I am an aspiring writer with dreams of writing something amazing one day, but for now, I blog, write letters (yes, real letters, in envelopes with stamps!) I am also learning to Geocache and have found 6 geocaches so far.

I am also an avid Bookcrosser and I go by the same name in Bookcrossing. What is BookCrossing? It's the World's Library. It's a smart social networking site. It's a celebration of literature and a place where books get new life. BookCrossing is the act of giving a book a unique identity so, as the book is passed from reader to reader, it can be tracked and thus connecting its readers. There are currently over ONE million BookCrossers and 8,470,603 books travelling throughout 132 countries. Our community is changing the world and touching lives one book at a time.
...and I am working toward my 650th book! I welcome postcards with books!

I love being a part of Postcrossing! It is wonderful to get postcards from all over the world, it just makes the world a smaller and more personal place.
*I would enjoy getting almost any postcard from you except for ones that just don't have any personality.
*Show me your country, special items that are special to you. I have just added to my favourites and I have found a pattern here...I like Hot Air Balloons; beautiful skies(One of my favorites would be Northern Lights!!!); oceans and beaches; mountains and lakes; Castles, Temples and Monastaries.
*You are welcome to send homemade ones, do you create artistic postcards? I love when folks share their personal talents with me, and allow me to send something that I have made.
*Please tell me something about you, what you like, what is your passion in life? Tell me about where you live, or what happened to you today? Please do not say "I hope you like this" because I know that I will!
