About Marta...
I am 27 years old and I come from Poland. I moved to Switzerland in September 2009. I'm learning German, so if you speak it -- use it and help me improve my skills!
I love books and good music. I enjoy cooking & baking (my kitchen bookshelf grows really fast, thanks to my lovely Amazon ♥).
These are types of postcards I like the most:
- landscapes, city views (skyscrapers, bridges),
- nature (sunsets, water),
- food (especially typical of your country, food markets; coffee, spices, chocolate),
- black & white photos,
- retro reprints (like ads from 50s-60s),
- Gotochi (I have these: http://tinyurl.com/gotochi ),
- Nouvelles Images
|--> my collection: http://tinyurl.com/nouvellesimages
|--> my wishlist: http://tinyurl.com/ni-wishlist
- Cheburashka (I already have these: http://tinyurl.com/my-cheburashkas )
- Art Nuvo (I already have these: http://tinyurl.com/artnuvo )
Do you know Corgis?

You'll make me extremely happy with a postcard with these cuties!
Don't send me, please:
- multiviews (photos are usually too small!),
- ad / handmade / self print cards,
- Christmas / Easter cards,
- other cards related to religion or politics.
PLEASE don't send cards from countries other than your original ID (e.g. when you're on holidays).
I keep all my sent/received scans here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/heksita/collections/ . Take a look if you want to be sure you're not sending me a double (I participate in many tags and round robins, so cards from postcrossing.com are not the only one I have).
I appreciate all cards I find in my mailbox, but if you live in a less popular or more exotic country I'd love to receive a landscape or a city view rather than flowers, cats or other neutral photos -- show me how your neighborhood looks like!
If you still don't know what to send, look at my favorites. I prefer stamped and handwritten cards (the more stamps, the better :D). You may write a sentence or two in your native language too.
And last request: don't upload the scan. I always digitize cards I receive and I (almost) always delete the sender's image. I just think that a card after its journey looks better, it has a story to tell (and that's why I don't erase scratches or stains from my images). So don't be mad at me if you see your scan disappeared from your gallery. I'm probably in the middle of digitizing your card, it'll appear again sooner or later :).
Have a great day!
