Hello postcrosser,
I live in a small town in the west of the Netherlands and my hobbies are walking along the beach (anykind of weather)or in the forest, reading, gardening, making photographs of people, nature and, last but not least, my 3 children(even if they try to avoid me & my camera...)and since february '11 also my grandson loves being in front of the camera, well for now anyway.
My eldest daughter (febr.'86) lives just round the corner and my youngest daughter (nov.'88) lives in Spain. My son (may '96) fell ill in october '06, is left braindamaged with severe epilepsy, but still living at home with me.
Because of this I'm not able to travel abroad with him anymore, but I do love to go out and about in my own country though.
After reading about 'postcrossing' I was eager to know more about it: getting postcards from all over the world sounds really nice...
So every time there's a card on my doormat it sure brightens my day.
I prefer postcards without envelopes and as I'm 'slightly' addicted to Xmas...you've guessed it...always welcome,especially round christmas!
I'm a dreamer: i like to believe that there's always something good in everyone...
