I am a Chinese woman working in Algeria as interpreter French-Chinese.
I fell in love with the land of North Africa and the Sahara when I was in junior middle school. At that time, I read a lot of books of Echo (San Mao), a Chinese female writer who lived in North Africa with her Spanish husband in the year 1970s. I was so enchanted by her Sahara stories, and to live in one of the countries of North Africa was always my dream. So when I graduated from university and got a chance to work in Algeria, I haven’t hesitated.
Some of my favorite cards are:
