I am a 28 years old phd student living in Boston, MA, though I am actually from Istanbul, Turkey. Since I live away from home, I value human connection more than the average and I believe postcards provide that proximity. Beginning the day with a postcard waiting for me in the mailbox, seeing someone's handwriting, enjoying the design of the postcard and reading the words are such joys!

I don't mind what you write on the card, as long as you write the words with pleasure:)I also don't mind the type of the cards you pick for me, but if I have a choice I would prefer art cards or cards bought from museums--for some reason, I don't like touristic postcards with pictures of landmarks on them, nor the multi-views. I would love to have hand-made cards, or even pictures taken by you! You can also send me bookmarks instead of postcards: I am studying literature and i have a collection of bookmarks as well:)

Btw, I began using domestic stamps instead of international ones. This way I can put three different stamps instead of one boring international stamp. I advise you do the same! :)
