I am a (mostly) SAHM to 4 children, Cynthia- 11yo- 5th, Daisy- 5yo- KG, Matthew- 2yo, and Kaitlynn- 7mo. We live on 10 acres in the Minnesota backwoods. Right now we live in a manufactured house because we plan on building sometime. We moved up here in June of 06 from Corpus Christi, TX. My husband had been in the Navy for 10 years, but he felt it was time to do something different. I don’t really like all the cold weather up here, but I am slowly adjusting.
I work part-time for H&R Block during tax season. My husband watches the kids while I work. I also started a candle and soap business, I make everything myself. I really like doing it, it keeps me busy. My kids keep me pretty busy, their school work and activities. I am the leader of my daughter's Daisy Girl Scout troop and my daughter Cynthia is a scout also.
Some of my favorite hobbies are reading, cross-stitching, soap and candlemaking, travel, and the computer. I spend a lot of time working on my website, they are harder than they look to create. I am actually quite new to penpals and look forward to meeting lots of new people. I also think the FB’s look like lots of fun. I also want to have meaningful conversations with friends. I like postcards that are written on and postmarked.
I also like and collect all sorts of figurines. For years I collected all sorts of roses, but now I am trying to collect hummingbirds and sheep.
