I'm a writer, graduate student, and mother of two girls. I am interested in fountain pens, ink, coffee, quilting, cross stitching and embroidery, art, and horse racing.

I enjoy learning about a country's history and culture - language, art, literature, landmarks and scenic spots, costumes, crafts, food, and sports.

When you send me a postcard, I'd appreciate it if you can write a word or sentence in your language (if not English), with translation, so that I can learn a little of your language.
